As some of you may know I am spending another 2 weeks in Sydney working for my old company (the vending machine one) installing the software I developed. It is a wee bit draining, and rather repetitive work, but they are paying me contract rates, and covering all of my expenses, so I can't complain too much!
I has been an interesting way to see Sydney. I have had the chance to go into a lot of different work places, and meet a number of different people.
They also paid for me to hire a car and go to Camberra, which was cool, I'll write about that later.
I can also say that I have now worked in a strip club, in fact in the changing room of a strip club. Even strippers like their candy!!!
It's tough work, but someone's gotta do it :)
I also went to a police station and to a remand facility!
However I am remembering, and getting a different perspective on how bad my old company was. Glad I'm not working for them full time anymore.
For some reason I found myself looking through the job ads in the paper. I found
a couple that looked very good, I was almost tempted to apply for one: $100K, company car etc etc. Fortunately I decided not to sell out again!
Although I haven't booked my ticket yet, I am planning on leaving to Singapore on Monday the 19th of September.
