Living at Dez and Adams

I only put Sydney air port as i could see it across the water from Dez's house, i couldn't find it here.

Saturday 21st March 2009
I was shown in the dark where to get the busses from to get to work. So a little different in the daylight but i think i remembered right. I waited for my first bus to come and was getting a little worried, but it eventually came, and i was even luckyer because when i got off at the rite stop my next bus just arrived. So good timing and only took me half an hour to get to work.
When i was working today Kat, Gemma and Dean popped in to say hello! I was a bit shocked to see them, they said i looked like a rabbit caught in the headlights. I saw them for a bit on my lunch breack then said my goodbyes for later as it was Kats birthday party this evening.
I took the bus into the city straight from work and got to Kat's to get ready. It was all amad rush with everyone that was going in the flat trying to get ready. We rushed down to the boat and Kat was calling him a few times to make sure the boat wasn't leaving. As we were going down the escalaters i thought i saw the boat, or a boat, leaving but when we got off i realised it was the escalators moving and not the boat! Blonde!
The night was amazing everyone was dressed up in masques, some in full costumes as well! It took a while to get used to the movement of the boat when we were dancing and walking up stairs but it didn't bother us later.
We managed to get into the cockpit where the captain was too. He was so cool about it, especially as we were a little tipsy by this point but not silly. We took photos of ourselvs with the captain, then got out of the enclosed area, hehe!
We had a good boogie and at the end of it managed to take a few feather bowers and masques with us?!
Then we went to the ivy but on the way Gemma, Kat and Sue were walking to go somewhere different so me and Lyndsey randomly walked the other way to get to the ivy quicker evn tho we didn't know where we were going. On the way we met some curian guys who had a fox masque and Lyndsey wanted it so they let her have it. It was so funny she was trying to say everything they were saying in their language, they laughed with us.
Then we made our way. There was a guy on a milk float/golf buggy cuming up the road so we asked if we could have a lift up the road and he let us!
Then we arrived at the ivy after a taxi ride, had to tell some guys in the quew to grow up as they were picking a verbal fight, and got in.
It was a good night and saw the rest of the guys in there too.
We walked home and me and Gem had our shoes off and were trying to walk on the - well you know the bits on roads and payvments where they dig it up then fill it with smooth shiny tarmack? - thats what we were trying to stay on because the other tarmack hurt our feet. They were thin lines too so we found it a little hard to stay in the lines. Got home then had cold pizza,mmmmmmmm.

Sunday 22nd March 2009
Work was normal today. Ash gave me a lift home and i saw the most amazing thing! We went under the runway for the airoplanes and there is no barrier at all, and as we got to it a plane went across rite infront of us litrally meters away, it was a pretty cool sight!
I had a jog after work down the side of the beach, it was a gorgeous few! There is the city skyline in the distance and the airport across the way. I could see all the airoplanes land and take off. As i got further up the beach i stoped and chilled out for a while and watched people do Kyte Surfing. They were really good and going really fast too!
Had a quiet evening, met Dez's dog then went to bed.

Monday 23rd March 2009
I had my last surfing lesson today and met up with Naomi, who i saw last lesson. Im more enthused to carry on with my surfing now, i don't get up much but my technique is getting better.
I had lunch with Naomi and had the nicest french bread roll sandwitch! She then went to spend her last day in Sydney with her family, and i sunbathed on the beach-and yes i slapped on the cream and didn't miss any bits this time!!! YAY! I then went home which took AGES as there are not a lot of busses to where im staying now, got ready and met Kat as it was her proper birthday today and we went to star city which is a cassino. It is massive and i felt like i had done something rong because there were so many cameras!!! It just made you feel like that. I didn't play anything but hte others did. Some of them did ok i think, but Kat lost out on poker.

Work today was boaring and very quiet so i made the staff do loadsa cleaning, Austin didn't seem to happy but her never helps.

Wednessday 25th March 2009
Work again nothing much to say apart from Austin is really starting to behave like he is the manager and anoying everyone. I had the house to myself when i got home and just had a shower then diary then bed.

Thursday 26th March 2009
I got up at 9 and did some more of my diary catching up, also had a bit of pain from my wisdome tooth which wasn't nice. Then Dez and i went to have lunch at mirranda, then did some food shopping, then went to the beach we were going to go for a swim but ended up being fascinated by the hundreds of crabs we saw running around! Im not exagerating! I have some videos of them it was a bit grose in a way because there were so many of them. Then we had to get going to pick up Adan from TAFE (Training And Further Education) basically college in England. We got home had dinner and watched Neighbours and the biggest loser, then went to woolongong to pick up their mate Matt who was working with Adam in the morning doing laybouring. It was a good journey there were some amazing biking roads there.

Friday 27th March 2009
Work was the same today but i didn't have much sleep as my wisdome tooth was agony!!! I can't open my mouth enough to eat properly and it is swolen. So i have been on pain killers and strepsills all day :(

Saturday 28th March 2009
Work again.
I had a night out with Kat, Gemma and their friend from the UK. It was a really good night! We went to Cargo for just one drink and ended up staying there for the whole night. We had a photo taken with a guy who looked like Vlark Kent, we had someones glasses on that were lensless and white like Brains, a random chinese guy picked me up and we made friends with 2 guys from central coast.
When they closed the outside, we danced our socks off inside and i got on stage and danced with the security man and stood next to the drummer. It was only a very small bit of stage and there was just a drummer no band? We then went in search of a kariokey bar but lost all enthusiasm and took a taxi home.
Then the ideot that i am left my phone in the taxi and we called it and spent ages on the phone to the guy that had it. He wouldn't give it back and he wouldn't do anything for me. He was acting like it was a ransom!? Idiot!!!! But weirdly he gave me some numbers i asked for and they were rite. So i was in a bad mood but it was a really good night!

Sunday 29th March 2009
Had a lye in and we all looked at the photos from last night, we were in stitches! It was the best night i have probably ever had! (apart from losing my phone!)
I went into town and got myself a new cheep phone, i got a package and when i went to register it i needed my pass port number which was at Dez's. So i went home and they had the keys for some reason, and i couldn't even call them? Luckyly they came back within a few mins and they looked really anoyed with me. Turns out the guy that stole my phone sent her some nasty messages and obviously they thought it was me. So after explaning everything was fine but why would someone do that?
I stayed in and had an early one.

Monday 30th March 2009
I went into work to get my things and say goodbye, I got my hair blowdryed too. I bought myself a bag as mine had broken and i needed a bigger one to put all my things in. I got a few things tyed up then headed to the city to see Jess at work to say goodbye.
She was shocked to see me and i needed a hat so she helped me choose and she got me 2 for $20! It was really nice of her.
I went back and packed my bags and Adam said he would give me a lift to Darling Harbour as that is where i was staying because they are closer to where i need to be in the morning. It took a while to get there as there was a black out in the city and the traffic was mad!
I got there and the girls couldn't believe how big my bag was. When Rich got there he helped me set it up rite so it fitted me properly, and figured out it would sit better if i wasn't so small :( haha.
Dean was not in yet as he is in I.T and was kept at where he needed to be for hours!
We had fajhitas for dinner which was lovely, then we played a few games of cards which was a laugh.
After that Rich wanted his sideburns and the edges of his hair tidyed. My things were at the bottom of my bag so i ended up using my fingers to pull the hair out and the clippers to combe his hair (turned off obviously) and some not so good scizzors. It was fine the outcome but funny because he kept making me laugh and he was getting nervous.
Then i said my goodbyes as i needed to leave at 6:30am and we all went to bed.
