JaniceMy favorite grad pic I took of Janice
Yesterday once we were up and showered we headed over to the Uni with foreboding skies to take Janice's graduation photos. I promised her we'd get some good shots despite anything the weather may bring and the weather brightened up just as soon as our camera batteries began to dim (so to speak--get the contrast, bright and dim). Before we went to take the pics we grabbed brunch at one of my favorites, Toby's Estate, they have the best coffee ever and I got a small bag ground up to take out to Perth.
Pictures are pretty self explanatory and I took somewhere in the range of 150-200 between our two cameras. Afterwards Janice realized her sunglasses were missing, we'd taken a couple bags to the Salvo and she made someone's day by donating a 3 year old pair of Prada sunglasses. The light at the end of the tunnel is she goes through duty free tomorrow and can find a new pair. We came back to the apartment just to double check her glasses were indeed donated and had a little down time before dinner at Braza Churrascaria with Stephanie. Dinner was delicious and I adventurously tried a tiny piece
of chicken heart, but i've been advised by mom not to eat any more organs because that is where disease is if an animal is afflicted.
After dinner, full as a tick, Janice and I went to see "State of Play" at a cute little cinema on Norton Street. It was the best movie i've seen in a while, lots of story, I highly recommend it and rottentomatoes.com gave it 85%. Then we came home and skyped with her parents, my mom, and my friend Vanessa then it was off to bed for the both of us.
Today brings repacking, cleaning, maybe a mani/pedi, and a trip to the post office.
Until the next post, ta.
