First Breath
Already a footy fan - Paddy attempts a screamer on the Doc even while taking his first breath.
We'd also like to thank you all for your overwhelming generosity. From the baby shower gifts, to flowers and thoughtful messages, Fiona and I were really touched by all your kindness and generosity - Thank you. If we haven't been in touch yet, we will be doing so shortly - we are still trying to get ourselves organised and familiar with all the new aspects of life with a sprog.
We thought this would be a great way to get photos out to you all rather than sending out e-mails. Whilst this doesn't really fit with the theme of a 'Travelblog', we figure that this little guy is our biggest adventure yet, so why not.
So, let us introduce you to our little bundle of joy; Paddy.
Not Happy
It was dark, warm and he was swimming around in liquid, now it's light, cold and what the hell is this breathing crap?
Not even one hour old
Patrick and I getting acquainted - he did try to suckle which was a little disturbing.
Meeting for the first time
Here's Fi and Patrick meeting after returning from surgery - he's about 2 hours old.
Hearing Test
Here's the little guy having his hearing test. He loved it - screamed when they took the headphones off.
Bath Time
Here's Paddy receiving his first bath by Dad. His legs aren't actually that long - it's the trick of the plastic bath.
