Opera bar

Friday 9th Jan 2009
I started at 12 today which was bliss! but i was really tyred still. Not much hapened at work.
Me and Bex got ready at work and took the bus to circular quey. The opera bar was really nice its kinda underneath and by the water. most of it is outside but there are heaters and a lot of seating. You can see both the harbour bridge and the opera house from the bar, it is really expensive for a drink though - $10 for a glass of wine and $7 for a beer that isnt even a pint!
We met up with Bex's friend Jodie and then Paul came with two of his friends. We moved on to the Rocks and went to the Orient but Bex couldn't get in because her friend had her pass port even tho she is 27 she couldn't get in so we left Jodie and her friend there and went to Darling harbour to a bar called Cargo on the harbour and met up with her flat mates and some people i saw at the trivior night the other week. It was really nice there. Then a bit later we went back to the Rocks to the Mercintyle pub and they played some really good old tunes, but when the YMCA was on i was videoing Bex and Paul dancing and a random old gye came in and fixed his long beard to his face with sunglasses and danced to the song! We were wetting ourselves! I came home when the band came back on because i didn't know any songs and i was tyred and had work the next day.

Saturday 10th Jan 2009
Work was busy again so it made the day go fast, i don't start till 10 tomorrow so that is nice another lay in!
When i came home i had a knock on the door it was my new flat mate. Everyone had moved out apart from the Slovakian couple. She is called Jess and is German. She plays the guitar, is a break dancer, street and hip hop dancer, a scater, a song writer, plays the piano, surfs.........there is no end to her talents! She has already asked me to sing a sond she wants to record so i am going to take her up on that offfer even if it is bad, why not? Luccas came over too he owns the place so it was nice to meet him. Jess has gone out now to do some dancing, Lucas has gone out too and Aundre is in his bedroom as always. Im going to bed as my cough has got worse and im nakered!
