This was the most beautiful sunset we encountered at the top of the escarpment
Friday afternoon picked up hire car and when Kitty finished work headed for Kangaroo valley. Family of Kangeroos seen en-route, no photo opportunity.

Sweet little cottage, very eco friendly with a composting loo!! Dinner in the village at Bella Cafe, home made pasta, it was great. We all slept well.

On the Saturday we explored the village made some sarnies and left for a picnic before heading of on a horse trek up Mount Moolleroo. Fantastic afternoon riding in the bush with native birds (including the elusive lyre) whisting in the trees. By the time we returned the Kangaros were coming out of the bush to graze in the paddocks. On the drive back to the Cottage several ran out across the road in fromt of us. Janet can truly say that she has seen Kangeroos in the wild.

Finished the day with BBQ Fillets and salad with a couple of bottles of wine with an outside log fire.

Sunday morning we left our little cotage early, the clocks went back an hour, and we headed up to a bush walk reccommended by Katy's friend. This involved a 40 minute trek in the bush up the escarpment

Our sweet home for 2 nights
to Drawing Room Rock. Well worth all the effort of the climb as the views were spectacular. After the climb down we headed to a buzzing little town called Berry for Coffee and snack and then drove back to Sydney to pack up and be collected by Tim for some more time in Gosford and Umina
