Jerilderie to Cumberland River
Hi guys, thought we would start a blog since we have a few months of touring around Australia - it's a bit easier for you to follow where we are and what we're up to!
We started our trip 0km on Trip A odometer, departing the farm at Jerilderie after filling the Triton with diesel.
Had a late start, so made our way through Shepparton and down the highway, bypassing Melbourne towards the Great Ocean Road - and the start of our Australian Adventure!
We fueled up at Little River (near Werribee) where price was 147.9c/L, and continued on our way where we stopped at Aireys Inlet for a look at Split Point Lighthouse.
With all intentions on staying the night at Lorne, our wallets just weren't fat enough for the $50 unpowered site, so continued a few km's west to Cumberland River Holiday Park (only $32/night) which had stunning stone cliffs and a stream nearby for an avid flyfisherman.
Total travel today 475km.
