We had two more places to visit along the Waterfall Way before heading off to Dorrigo. Yesterday, we ran out of time and, we did not get to see Metz Gorge or Bakers Falls.
The road out to Metz Gorge was quite rocky and resulted in us getting a flat tyre. Steve put the spare one on and we had to drive back to Armidale to get a new one. We were just not meant to see Bakers Falls.
After spending the morning waiting for the guy to fix the car we went back to the caravan park and hitched up to continue our journey.
We drove to Ebor and had a picnic lunch at the Ebor Falls. They were fabulous. The water was pounding over the two falls at Ebor. Ebor Falls are located on the Guy Fawkes River near Ebor and about 37 kilometres north-east of Wollomombi on Waterfall Way in the New England region of New South Wales. They are situated within Guy Fawkes River National Park, with viewing platforms of the falls and walking tracks, a rest area with barbecues, an information display, picnic tables and toilet
After lunch, and a walk around the Falls, we continued
on to Dorrigo and found a great place to stay - "Bill and Betty's". Bill has a lot of land out by the Dorrigo Dangar Falls and he has four powered sites in his paddock. It was a great place to stay. The waterfall was so close that we could hear the sound of the waterfall while we were in the caravan.
After setting up we went for a walk down to the Falls; yes, in the rain and the mist

well
after all that hot weather, you picked a few chilly days! Still, lovely scenery, and such a cheerful caravan - a good buy, that! Funy there being not a drop of water in one fall, and so much in the othre. Thanks for sharing your holiday with us, Carrie.
