Well what do we know...?
Here I am again.. on my way 'home'! :) ...like a lifetime ago... yet so familiar ...
In true Sufiyo tradition, this report comes somewhat late, though I've been thinking of you in my heart regularly :)
Life in the tropical rainforest has been very good to me. Together with Luke I have lived what feels like 3 years of heart and soul in the past 10 months - can you believe it's been that long??!! And as if that doesn't blow my mind every time I consider it, we have news! No, we're not breeding... yet ;) It seems the tantalising tropics have had their way with me and I have been converted... I'd never have thought it a year ago, but now I'm not sure I can envision settling anywhere else at the moment. The fruit, forests, climate, waters, ocean, creatures and possibilities (not necessarily in that order) have called my spirit home. And so, it will officially become... not before my sweetheart town's festive season has been lived and loved of course!
Between creating and selling raw enerqi cakes for the local gourmet cafe and spotting Luke up the divine coconut palms - through to nursing him and his broken ankle in bed (!) - the time has paradoxically both flown past and seemed to be another entire lifetime... How I wish I could share with you the incredibly soul shifting and body tingling experiences of Mossman Gorge and the abundance of sweet luscious tropical fruit in particular. But ahh... you'll just have to come and visit us up here sometime! Your bod will be energised and revitalised! :))
So, with the universe guiding us and angels on our side, we'll be in the Festival State again by November 2nd. Tonight I'm in Byron Bay, a solo mini-journey as Luke has stayed back in Townsville with his family for an extra week. Tomorrow will feed my social and sentimental spirit as I flutter amongst my last rainbow market for a while (Bangalow) - text your requests through now!! :) Then, on the road again via Coffs, Pt Macquarie, Albury and Swan Hill...
Now who's organising that welcome back-surprise birthday party? *big cheesy grin*
Love, light and big warm, colourful smiles,
Sufiyo
