Batehaven

It was only an hour’s drive from Canberra to Batehaven, a little village near Batemans Bay.It was time to just chill for a bit, so we checked into an awesome caravan park and went into slow mode.

That afternoon I cycled to Surf Beach while Dean relaxed by the pool, and the following morning we explored Batemans Bay by bike.

With the exception of thunderstorms on our first evening, we had pretty awesome weather! Before leaving Batemans, we were sure to have a go on the caravan park’s giant jumping pillow (fun!!) and throw a lure in the river. Our van also got its, much needed, first deep clean of the trip. Wow, it’s made such a difference.
