15-2-8 early start south of yass, again night cold by late as land cools. days almost instantly warm to fine, blue skies. on to wagga where mid town stroll proved popular. lunch at info booth barby, found out kinross is outside albury so i did the run by two. walk around shed site and outfront parkup to await five oclock rush to bar for bands. walk thru bush past country campers who took all six handwavers! waited for crowd to arrive, sun blazing. a perth summer day, shade and water esential. five oclock still quiet. cardboard on the windscreen, cardboard on the hatch, staring at red gravel and cigarette butts litter, bass thumping, generator droning. beer to ease the strain, keep fluids up. magpies chortle in pod laden tree. couldn't venture from shade of hatch. six oclock all quiet. finally gave up and into albury for hot shower.
