Hi Everyone,
Since the last blog entry we have had a day trip to Burrum Heads and been back to Geoff and Maries for a few days and had a days fishing at Barumba Dam (about an hour from Gympie) and although we only had one day there we thought it was a lovely spot and will definitely return. Unfortunately I forgot my camera that day so no pics from there. We caught up with Neville and Helen (our Weipa tour leaders) and had a lovely night at their place for dinner. Then it was back to River Heads to get the house ready to close up before heading off to the Muster. Michael and Marilyn joined us for a few days at River Heads prior to our leaving and it was lovely to have them with us. Needless to say a few wines were consumed on the deck during their stay. Thanks Marilyn for all the cleaning.
The Muster was awesome, although very hot and very dusty, and I know many of you don't believe me when I say that even John enjoyed it but he really did and could even be found at the front of the main stage "moshing" with the crowd.
After the muster we headed to Yamba and had a couple of lovely days there with Michael and Marilyn. Port Macquarie was the next port of call and although the weather was terrible we did catch up with one of our mates and had a lovely BBQ with them and the Godfreys. From here it was off to Penrith for the Muscle Masters race meeting at Eastern Creek and our final stop before heading home.
We arrived home on Monday to the rain and cold and haven't yet warmed up. It has been lovely to catch up with family and friends and are now looking forward to a trip to Melbourne to catch up with Lisa and Nick.

Well here ends the travel tales of Maree and John for another year so until our next adventure it's bye and thanks for tuning in.
Love
John and Maree
