The Faber Family Has Arrived!

Hail, Hail...The Gangs All Here! The Faber family landed safely in sunny Florida. And today, it was sunny! Yahoo. What a difference a day makes. While waiting for the Fabers to arrive, we spent time together with Lory, Jay & Sara at the Pottery Time store and a new Flea Market on route 192. So many "treasures" to look at. The Flea Market is a duplicate of all the others that dot this tourist Mecca.....just in a new building. Same old foolish junk! We are puzzled over one thing that Lory discovered in one of the Womens Restrooms: a foot shower??! - or what is it? No clue. Why would you have a foot shower in a public restroom? What else could it be? -- A shower for squirrels, a drinking fountain for a dog or snake, a water spout for an eye flush for someone who has fainted, a toad's new home (a metal toadstool stuck into the wall).....what?? Your guess is as good as ours. Feeling they had devoted enough time to our wants & needs, Cory & Jay happily and eagerly went to the driving range to hit a few golf balls for awhile. Once Kim & Jim and the kids were settled into their timeshare, Cypress Harbour, we all headed over for our family reunion. It was great seeing them again and they all look so well & healthy. Travis has brought his friend, Mike. Haley has brought her friend, Shannon. The more the merrier. Sara was glad to be with the girls. The adult scene gets old for her fast. Jim & Kim had bought pizza for all of us.....from Pizza Hut: my favorite! We chatted for awhile and then strolled around the resort to see what was new. The main clubhouse lobby has been completely remodeled: beautiful. A hundred seats to chose....which will I pick? We sat outside at the poolside bar enjoying a couple musicians who melodically entertained us. It was such a pleasant evening and oh, so perfect just being with our family again! Life is so good!
