Arrived in Amarillo the second day after a long ordeal on the road on Hiway 27 . The motorhome stopped running and we were stuck on the side of the highway for over 6 hours waiting for help to arrive. They finally arrived and repaired our Coach and we were on our way again arriving in Amarillo quite late to see Jim and Reta Nussbaum. Jim was working out of town but we had lunch with Reta and her friend, Sue. Now it's off to Santa Fe to visit Betty Carley. What she has done to her home there is absolutely amazing. She bought a home in the old historic district and has totally remodelled it. It is beautiful.
