I woke up early this morning and hit the road. It was really hot last night in the tent and there was no wind at all. I arrived in Dallas at around 9am and there was no traffic. I parked my bike right in front of the Kennedy memorial. I walked around and took some pictures. After, I headed north toward Oklahoma City. Again, there were no real side roads to take, so I ended up on the freeway. It was hot again, around 97 degrees. You should see my hands there are so tan, today I decided to wear gloves so I don’t get cancer. I made it to Oklahoma City and got on the historic Rout 66 headed west to L.A. It started to get real cloudy and I decided to get a hotel room instead of camp. This will give me an opportunity to look at my routs and do some laundry. I’m glad I opted for the hotel about 20 min after I checked in it stated thundering and lighting. It down poured for an hour, which was good it cleaned all the bugs and dust off my bike. Of course the hotel has a washing machine but no detergent. Also, the internet connection is shit, what do you expect for 40 bucks. I’ll get up early and find a laundry mat, hopefully they will have internet. I have a pretty easy ride tomorrow, about 330 miles. Hopefully I will find a camp site. I will be in New Mexico by then. The next day is a long ride almost 500 miles into Arizona.

Where all those people are is where Kennedy was shot
