Dear tom and scott... i think this is the best way of showing you my pictures... anyway it takes ages to download them on this computer so i will send some more when i can face staring at a computer screen again!

getting ready to leave... pretty excited!
first paddle
so we set off, 25th july. about 1030 pm

another windy day confined to our tent smoking pot! It was a hard life sometimes!

tulita, a small village about a third of the way up the river - very picturesque
in josefs boat
a local guy in norman wells invited us to share a beer in his skiff
big moose
a hunter heading back to fort goodhope stopped us in the middle of the river to show us his catch
big fires
getting very cold at night and an abundance of driftwood!
danny and hide
danny - a local trapper who lived out here year round.. we stayed with him for a few days and helped around the plcae in return for lots of great moose meat caribou and smoked fish
