Happy April Fools Day!!!!!!!!
What a morning! I woke up at 8am for some reason but didn’t feel tired which was weird considering that I went to bed at 2:45am. I got myself out of bed and headed for the cosmos for my golf clinic. The ship was rocking this morning so I was expecting a small group, and I was right, only about 20 people showed up.
My phone was ringing off the hook during my clinic which really annoys me because everyone knows when my clinic is but yet they still phone me. Berry was the only one that I can forgive because he doesn’t know what time I am where. He called me because he said he needed to talk to me (he is the HR manager).
So after my clinic I stopped at the desk to see if it was busy and it wasn’t so I scooted down to see Berry. He had a weird look on his face and he said he needed to talk about the email from Hugo he got, I told him I had talked to Hugo and I thought the decision they made about the golf program sucked. He was relieved that I had already spoken to Hugo and didn’t have to break the news to me. He then told me he was going to be on the Solstice with me as HR manager so we chatted about a regular paintball game with our own gear in San Juan next winter!
I came back to the desk and everybody was in a pissy mood because of one thing or another so the next couple of hours were not fun.
I had lunch at 1pm and now I am back at the desk and settling in for the long haul until 9pm tonight.
10:48pm
Well that was a fun afternoon; at least I got paid, nothing like an envelope with a big wad of cash in it to make you feel happy!
We had a meeting with Daniele after work about the ratings and the tours and this that and the other thing. Then we had a meeting with Sorin after that to discuss what we can do to improve everything, so hopefully we can pull it together for two more cruises!
I am looking forward to paintball tomorrow; it is always a great way to get rid of some anger!
