hi! we made it to gorham. our ssecond city along the trail. terrain is still tough. we arent walking the trail, we arent hiking the trail, we are climbing it! hopefully thingss will get easier in maine, we are just a few days away from leaving NH. saturday one of our good friends got married and in honor of solveig and jason we hiked mt washington for them. it was amazing! it was raining and fog covered with zero visability when we got to the top and just as we started to climb down the clouds parted and we got a 36o view! very amazing! we gave tribute to the 151 people that parished while trying to summit mt washington in the past. i also did my firt work for stay at a hut along the way. yes i washed dishes for a free stay at a hut one rainy day...it was better then camping in a wet tent! tomorrow we head out again and our next town will be Andover Maine! yeah!! highlight of the trip so far was that i was finally able to pass a day hiker. day hikers have a very small pack and are usually very fast, compared to us for 3o pound packs...but we passed a couple on the trail which means we are getting in shape and starting to go faster....hugs, stephen and natasha
