After the 4th of July, Desi, Haley, and I took off down I-84 on a trip across the country!
We were bound for Toledo, Ohio, with stops in Fort Collins, Colorado and Omaha, Nebraska, and anywhere else in between.
I enjoyed the drive just for the views and the company of Desi and Haley, however, Desi saw it a different way. He was rushed to get home, and didn't like the hours behind the wheel. We made it work though, and we saw some beautiful places!
Some of the highlights were due to driving in a Jeep--both lowlights and highlights, really. Misquitoes, the wind, oh the wind..., sunsets, tans and sunburns, rain...hhahha. I don't think Desi or I will ever drive it again. At least I can say I did it, and Desi can say that he did it, again.
Here are the photos...going East.

Utah!I wish we had that decal on the Jeep.

Fort Collins! O'Dell BrewingWe stopped for a couple nights to hang with Lisa and Eric (Desi's friends from Turkey). What great hosts--including a bike ride around Fort Collins, touring the Breweries.
