Day 11

We started out the day with a great breakfast at Granny’s Restaurant in Cody. We had many miles to cover & needed a tank full of fuel to do it!

Covering Yellowstone in one day is just not possible but we did the best we could. What a beautiful place. I just happened to have a copy of the soundtrack from Lonesome Dove with me for today's travel. What great music to listen to while looking at some of God's very best work! Words just won’t do it justice so I did the best I could with some pictures. Enjoy!

We spent the night in Dubois, WY & are ready to start the trip back home.

While we were enjoying lunch, this pelican made 3 trips past us on the river. He would fly upstream & float downstream. He must have been toobing on the Guadalupe before or was expecting a tip for his antics!

You know what they say... When the chips are down, the bison is empty!

The ranger told us this would happen at 3:56 (plus or minus 10 minutes). It barely made it in time!

WY.
At age 10 I went to camp, from Michigan, just outside Jackson Hole at the foot of the Tetons. Seeing some of your pictures brought back so many wonderful memories of the restful scenery in the state. Be safe coming home. Elaine
