So I've been reading up on what to wear in London, and have found many websites pointing to black as the most versatile colour to wear, in particular black pants. So I think I need to find me some casual black pants to wear, along with some flats, and possibly a white sweater top. I figure I can find some other clothes once I get there (there was talk of a shop that sells really cheap clothing) and also figure out what the really "in-trends" are this summer.
I've also been talking to Lauren lately, and she's really got the scoop on how to get around town. Me thinks she memorized the Underground before she ever got there. Perhaps I should do the same so that I don't look like the "normal" tourist. Hey, if I could pass for a German when I was in Germany, it should be easy to pass for English in England. Right? lol Lonely Puzzle Girl is going to London and going to have a heck of a time.
I think tomorrow I'm going to start going through my clothes and decide what I'm going to take and what not to take. That way I can see which suitcase I will probably need to take with me. Most likely, I think I'll end up taking the larger suitcase so that I can have space to bring home souvenirs (which will probably end up being clothing that I buy there, and that hopeful London Fog coat :)) and anything else I buy.
Another thing I plan on doing is getting an idea for hostels in Barcelona and Rome that have transportation to the air ports. That way if I do get the chance to visit other countries while I'm in Europe, I can. I should also check out the possibility of a trip to Greece, or maybe Turkey (unless Thilanka comes to visit me in London, woot!), and France.
Also, I guess I should continue to study my Gaelic in case I go on the 3 day excursion to Scotland instead of those other trips. At least that way I can find my way around or at least look like a Scottish person. :)
So yeah, now I'm outta here for the night. Peace out!
