After a week of rain and colder weather seeing the sun high in the sky and blue skies is better than winning the lottery! I realize I already complained about this last time, BUT i would just like to say one more time, for the record, that I got stuck in THREE down pours in one day, where I was more than two miles away from the car or tent. Seattle….. Now your probably thinking that Seattle is where Starbucks came from and where grunge music originated….and that is correct but there’s loads more to this city though! There are loads and loads of Starbucks though. Went down to Pike Market to check out the longest market in the USA. Got to see a guy throw a fish 20 feet through the air and caught it on camera too. Reminds me of Old Strathcona with an ocean view mixed with a large farmers market. [View Full Entry]

After a short four hour flight from the sunny mile high city of Denver we arrived at the airport in Seattle. It was so nice to fly for only four hours instead of the bus journey which would have taken 36 hours!!! I have heard that the journey by road is nice to actually do due to the scenery, however the views out of the windows of the plane were fantastic. Drove into Seattle at about noon local time, This place is really nice! Found a beautiful park on the Puget sound and touched the Ocean for the first time. Smells exacly like my fish tank haha. Maybe driving really fast on I-5 wasnt so smart. Oh well not the first speeding ticket I have got. Not bad price for going 18 mps over only $150. On the upside going through customs was really fast and they didnt search through our stuff which was nice. [View Full Entry]
