Paradise

After one night good sleep, we got up in the morning, had a good breakfast
(first time for the past 5 months for Hans-my husband),watched Olympic games for a while, BTW,Canada got its first Gold metal at the same day. Then we said Good bye to Wentao and Guan Jun and headed to the first destination:Mount Rainier NP. It was raining on our way to the park, actually it was only the beginning of the rain for our whole journey as we would mention later. After 3and half hours driving, we got to a place called "Paradise" which is supposed to be the best view point for Mount Rainier and other mountains around. Unfortunately, we saw nothing through the rain although we know there must be a huge,fabulous and active volcano before us. So we decided to treat us like in Paradise by staying in Paradise Inn ($103/night) and eating formal dinner inside the Inn. At night,when we went out, everything was covered by fog, and the light came out from the old-style wooden building made this place even more like a paradise. even more, Hans got up at 5am the next day and got a best shot for a black-tail deer in the mist.
