Ye' Old Stomping Grounds

We've had the past year or so to soak up Washington state while we spent time with our families and worked. In early July we went to Eastern WA and to Montana. July was a great month of visiting old friends and family. Or should I say old family and young friends; and some young family.

We also enjoyed some classic Missoula scenery and rivers. After returning to WA, Natalie headed out on an adventure with my parents, John and Tricia to beautiful Ross Lake WA, it's gorgeous up there as you might see from the photos. They kayaked up to Ross Lake Dam from Diablo Lake and paid for a ride around the dam and then paddle up Ross Lake. Natalie and Barb also hiked desolation peak. (btw Natalie doesn't give a damn about Kerouac) she did it for the view! :0)

Since, Ross Lake Nat's been working in Bellingham filling in some shifts at her old haunt/job. We've been doing some great hiking, biking, kayaking, and will be going sailing tomorow, oh and let's not forget crabbing, love crabbing, and Disc Golf. Bellingham has a new Disc Golf course that is most excellent. Can't go wrong in this neck of the woods especially if you have time to enjoy it's grandiose luxuries. Cheers!!!

This little hike near the end of the Mt. Baker highway is well worth the effort. You can't beat the views in all directions.
