Day 16 - Friday

Slept in this morning and just soaked up the atmosphere.
We started to get ready to go to the Carter Family Fold Festival in Hiltons Virginia. I would see Martha and Jackson play with the Whitetop Mountain Band for the first time.
I got to meet Martha's parents, Thornton and Emily, as well as Debbie, which was very special.
I also got to play a tune up on stage with the Whitetop Mountain Band. It was a great experience.

We were very fortunate to spot a bear just outside Jackson's place. He was a baby, but still pretty big.
