The bicycle panniers I ordered came yesterday. I settled with the Nashbar Euro Compact. I am satisfied I am able to fit all my cookware and camping supplies in them. I have weighed all my gear and I am at 70lbs. Not bad seeming that the Axiom Journey Rack hold a maximum capacity of 154lbs. As far as my "tent" goes I previously bought a Clark Jungle Hammock. Well, tonight is...packing hell! Haha, that's what I get for putting it off so long. I'm here at my parent's house. Last home cooked dinner, chicken with mushrooms and veggies. I'll take all the chicken I can get since I will probably eat nothing but beef for the next five months. The entire trip still feels like it is weeks away. I can't quite grasp the idea that tomorrow I am off on a five month stay in a foreign country. I guess I'll have to get used to the idea by tomorrow at 2:00 when my plane takes off! Enough wasting time... Back to packing!! I can't believe the trip I've been thinking about for so many months is FINALLY here!! My next entry will be from sunny Buenos Aires!! Yay!
