I got to meet Ron Haslam, one of my favorite racers from a few years ago. What a nice bloke.
Well it truly was time to go on a short break...and why not to Utah to see the North American venue for the World Superbike Racing.
I travelled down from Canmore Alberta with some good friends, Lorraine and Jon. I think the driving (yes we were in their car) distance was around 900 miles (1500 kms?) to Salt Lake City and the Miller Motorsports Track at Tooele.
This gave me the chance to try out the new GPS tracking system that Blackline GPS gave me in Calgary. I have heard from a few people that it worked well with only the odd hiccup here and there so hopefully it will work well for the trip north ....now only 6 weeks away.
It was really good to see some racing again I must admit. Even better to have some sunshine and warmth too as Calgary had quite a bit of snow that weekend!
Anyway....hopefully a few photos materialize here for you.

Regards

Nevil
