After breaking camp at Devil's Canyon we drove the motorhome south to Gooseneck State Park. There we saw the Colorado river cutting its way through the canyon floor. We off loaded the motorcycle in this remote park and left for a 100 mile round trip into AZ to see Monument Valley, deep in the Navajo Nation.

After returning to the motor home, (Maggie was frantic as we were gone for 4 hrs) we loaded up and drove north along scenic route 95. We entered the canyon floor of ancient rivers with side walls over 1,500 feet. The colors were spectacular and around every turn the landscape was more impressive than the last. We crossed lake Powell in the upper end of Glen Canyon National Park. We drove past a massive Capital Reef with 1,000 foot rock face and ended the day at our campsite in Torrey, UT. One blown fuse on interior lights that I can't locate, one lost socks in the campsite laundry and a satellite dish that does not work; not too much trouble for all the fun we are having.
