30th July. Travelled from Salmon to Tremonton, Utah, today with a slight detour to visit a strange landscape called 'Craters of the Moon'. A area where volcanic eruptions, about every 2000 years, creates lava flow and odd mounds and pinnacles. The surface becomes eroded over time but areas remain where nothing grows.
