Downtown San Antonio, Tx
We left Beaumont for a new adventure and drove to San Antonio, Texas. Early the next day, we drove downtown to the RiverCenter Mall to park our car and tour the area. We visited the Alamo. The chapel of the Alamo Mission is known as the "Shrine of Texas Liberty".

Late morning, we toured the Riverwalk by boat. That's quite the gem. The river is about 5 miles long lined with countless cafes, shops, restaurants and other businesses.

We then visited the Hemisfair Park which was built to host the 1968 World's Fair and has the world famous San Antonio landmark "The Tower of the Americas". The 750-foot-tall Tower of the Americas provides guests the most spectacular view of the city from the Tower's revolving Chart House restaurant or from the observation deck.

I would highly recommend visiting this city. 😱
