So I was going a little crazy, you know, a classic case of the travel bug. I searched around for 2 days but I couldn't find anything that would work with James' study schedule, or if it did, nothing I could afford. So, after considerable pouting, I decided that we would go to South Padre Island. So now we're here.
Some times we go to the beach, sometimes, we go to the hot tub, sometimes I read, sometimes we eat yum yum. One time we went to Schlitterbahn. That was fun, but not as much fun as the one in New Braunfels.
Anyway...Here are some pictures of so far.
I'll apologize now for the poor quality of writing employed in this entry. I'm trying to write wwith the TV on in front of me, and any one who knows me, knows that anything on TV, even commercials, completely sucks me in.

Sometimes the best places to visit are right in our own back yard practically. South Padre Island...close to home and beautiful! Nice place to relax, take in the sun (but not too much), eat, drink and just "chill" out. Pics are good and James is really handsome with his short haircut!
Have a good time and keep safe....Grandma J
Totally rad! Just a short little blip down the way! You have time, you guys should scoot up to Colorado for the Rainbow Gathering! We're headed out tonight or tomorrow (friday or saturday) and will be there until about the 5th or 6th!
Camping, hippies, psychedelics, drums, other shit.
Nederland, Colorado here we come!
If your not working it's a vacation! And a vacation ANYWHERE is better than working!
I hear SPI is very pretty...never been down that far.
Have a great time and of course beeee careful!
Love,
Mom
