Day 34 - Visits with Sridhar

Morning- usual walk to Tom Thumb and back and phone calls from India. At 11am V and R left for TT. R came back early since TT table had been removed to make space for group photos. V went to thr gym and was back only by 1.15pm. Sridhar came after lunch. Went in his rented car around the campus. He told us that only 4-5 buildings were there when he studied in UTD. Now, it had expanded ten fold. He showed us the room in Green Hall, where he worked as a TA. Looked around McDermott Library which h said had not changed much. Following this he drove us around Plano showing us his former office buildings and the houses where he lived. Then went to Pankajam mami's place as planned. We were there from 3.45 to 4.45pm. Next to Rajesh's house, not very far off. Left at 6pm from Rajesh's place and went to Clay Pit, Indian restaurant. Nina and Tom were already there. Tom had us laughing throughout dinner. Left at 8:30- Sri to airport, Nina and Tom to their house. Madhu dropped us at Viswam's apt. and went home. Bryant had lot of friends over, so i slept early. R plyed online 56 and V spent time with Bryant's friends who were here upto 11:30pm, and then he played halo with Prarthu and Ajay.
