The winery tour that I mentioned in my last blog was nice. We got to see some of the equipment that they use while making wine. But we didn't actually see any of the process. So of our group did some wine tasting. I'm not much of a wine lover and Les sure isn't, so we skipped that part of the tour. After the winery we went out to see a tree that we were told about there. It takes 5 people to reach around it. I've attached a picture. It's a beautiful tree. It's said that many wedding ceremonies are performed under that tree. We left Albuquerque on Sunday, Sept 20th. We got into Odessa that evening. I spent much of the next day with my daughters & some of my grandkids. Before lunch I went by my old office. It was nice to see my former co-workers. It was Kim's birthday, so I had lunch with my daughters Kim & Tisha. After lunch I did a little shopping to kill some time, then I picked Natalie up at school. Those times when we are alone together are very bonding for us. She was telling me all about her new school and about her plans to graduate early and go to Midland College for a couple of years.
