We got a fairly early start yesterday morning for an 8+ hour drive. We stopped in Limon, CO for lunch at Denny’s. What a difference one letter makes. Penny’s yesterday was much, much better! We passed through Oklahoma & settled for the night in Amarillo at the Holiday Inn Express. The sweet young lady at the front desk upgraded us to a king suite. (I guess I really looked old & tired.) After checking in, we walked across the street to the Texas Roadhouse for a taste of home. Vanessa took great care of us & we left happy after a great meal. More tomorrow.
