After the horrors of yesterdays round, we had a great team meeting at the hotel this morning and everyone was in a good frame of mind heading to the course. The weather was perfect with little wind and high temperatures perfect for making a charge. I personally got off to a poor start being 3 over through 4 holes but battled back to just 1 over at the turn with birdies at 6 and 9. Despite carrying some good momentum to the back nine, I struggled coming home to a dissapointing 77 to finish in a tie for 23rd individually. The guys in the lineup played solidly if without the fireworks we had hoped for, Aaron 70, Matt and Niclas 73 and Ally and Freddie 74. Well today didnt go exactly as planned, conditions today were tricky, with the wind gusting between the trees making it difficult to hit precise iron shots to some fairly tough pin placements. I played the first hole par 5 well tee to green and then 3 putted for par, i proceeded to make 4 straight bogeys followed by another bogey on 8 to be out in 5 over 41, determined to turn it around on the back nine I kept grinding and and had it back at 4 over with 4 to play but consecutive bogeys on 15 and 16 cost me, though I finished strongly with a great sand save on 17 and a birdie at the last. Hello all, Different state to report from today, after a 6.45am wake up call the team travelled roughly two and a half hours due south to Cleveland, Tennesse. Today was the day of our practice round for the Lee University Invite at Cleveland Country Club. We tee'd off at around 11 to find the course in great shape, it's an older style layout with a premium on accuracy both from the tee and when hititng into small well protected greens. It looks like a good course to score on if you are patient so that will be the plan tomorrow. Today, I had to deal with the aftereffects of yesterday. I was pretty drained physically. I had an idea this would happen, so I scheduled today as another recovery day.
