Household ChoresHousehold ChoresHousehold Chores

Seem so much better when you're doing them in someone else's household.
We spent the day with Leanne and Ron just hanging around their apartment. Had a phone call from Lindsay, did some laundry and went to the supermarket. After shopping, Leanne made a delicious soup for dinner. Nice treat!!Then when it was dark outside, we took a ride to see some special Christmas decorations. Got some pictures and hope they are good enough to show everyone. When we returned from seeing the decorations, we all spoke with Leslie via the speaker phone. Tomorrow we're going to visit Leanne at work at the University of South Carolina. She's going to show us around the day care center and meet some of the teachers and kids. That should be fun. We're looking forward to it. <br style="font-family:
Hello, Ma? I can hardly hear your call!Hello, Ma? I can hardly hear your call!Hello, Ma? I can hardly hear your call!

I don't even know if you can Google this one to figure it out. Leanne will know what it means.

The weather here has been a bit cool - NOT cold, It sure does seem strange to see people walking around without heavy winter jackets, hats, gloves, etc.

Lindsay here. The 'rents haven't given us much to work with on this one, but let's see what we can do anyway. As is evidenced by the pictures below, I focused in on the fact that everyone ate soup.

But aside from that, I want to take a moment to discuss the name of the teams of the University of South Carolina. The "Gamecocks" bring to mind a number of interesting images. As everyone knows, a gamecock is a rooster suitable for fighting. This in itself is a bit bothersome, but I guess if you're gonna
Do They Not Know?Do They Not Know?Do They Not Know?

And people have a problem with the Washington Redskins' name?! SC should really change theirs. Seriously.
make a chicken your mascot, it better be a mean one. Otherwise, names like the University of South Carolina Cornish Game Hens or the USC Domesticated Fowl don't do well to strike fear in the hearts of their opponents. Or if you're going to embrace an illegal form of bloodsport, you could do just as well to call yourselves the Michael Vick Pitbull Terriers.

Anyway...

The photo of the cheerleader here shows her holding a cheer card, on the other side of which is the word "game." I'm confident that anyone who is familiar with them tires of all the obvious jokes after a while, so I'll take it easy. Otherwise, make as many wisecracks as you like.
