This will be the final blog entry for this trip. (I received some feedback after the RTW about how I never posted a final blog entry about my journey home to the US, so I won't be making that mistake again!)

Today was essentially a travel day. We packed up our bags and checked out of the hotel, filled the gas tank and returned the rental car to the airport, checked in for our flight and went through security. We had a smooth non-stop back to PDX. We had a clear view of the Tetons as we passed over and a great look at Mt. Hood, too. Thanks to the time difference, we arrived with a few hours left in the day for unpacking, buying milk, etc.

So this is the conclusion of the trip. We had a very pleasant time driving up the Mississippi River valley and I will send out emails before our next travel adventure!
