"Head out on the highway. Looking for adventure. Whatever comes my way..." Mars Bonfires's tribute to the long lonesome road has resonated in my big ears every since I first saw
Easy Rider when I was just a young pup. For me, as always, the road (or the sky) beckons me just as it did Billy and Captain America. Hit the road Jack...
Returning home from Asia to America for the holidays has renewed my appreciation for family, good coffee, windshield wipers and warm clothes (brrrr...). It has also stretched my tummy as America is a big country with big food!
San Francisco---eat,
Portland---eat,
Seattle--eat...eat, eat, eat....
Memories, dreams, fluid adventures of the mystical kind...the honey, spice and chocolate gelato (?) of the good lookin' travelin' dog... I met that
hansum man Rosco in
the City (San Francisco). He was the guest of honor at Christmas Brunch...a real smart K-9 bomb-sniffin' hero doggie. Now there's a nice young German boy who could really eat! I wonder why didn't they name him Dieter... ??
Food is one of the very true pleasure of traveling whether it be pecan pancakes at Cloe's on Church St. or
Phat Thai at the River Restaurant on
Koh Lanta in the south of Thailand...eat, eat, eat, chomp, chomp, chomp...watch the Chang (elephants) walk on by! Nothing to
kibble about here....
Speaking of Koh Lanta...I miss my wild young Thai buddies on the beach. They come by everyday to see me when I hang out at the beautiful new
Lanta Castaway Resort on Hat Phra Ae (Long Beach). And that cute little kitty Lek...too bad she ran away...but so did her cute master...the one with the tattoos!!
Ahh...Koh Lanta...I love it there...the beautiful blue ocean, the booming thunder, the clanging of hammers on sheetmetal at 7am every morning at the neighboring construction site (arrghh). Koh Lanta...paradise with a boom town thing-y goin' on!
On Koh Lanta the TooKays sing to me and the beach dogs with the raggedy tails are so cute!! And those two nasty Ginkgos...they sure were having fun...and
doggie style at that!! Just have to watch out for the snakes and scorpions...
Then there was that sweet little white guy in
Hanoi...the one with the nice old lady. Cute little fella'. Too bad he smelled like basil...yeech! But those Vietnamese dogs have many stories to
tell...especially the ones that don't end up in the soup! Pho whatever! Hanoi, Hanoi...beep/beep, beep/beep, BEEP~!
And I'll never forget that very good lookin' monkey on the island across the river from
Krabi town...made me want to become a monkey for a day! I hear he likes to bite
farang people!
Ahh, the thought of travel makes me feel alive...the hairs on my neck stand up, I drool a bit more than usual...it's all so exciting...and bloody damn tiring. It's a dog's life, you know....
I think I'll rest a bit before I go, but you can be sure there will many adventures in store for me soon...zzzzzzzz!
Roscoa bomb-sniffin' full-on cool guy

Gee, that's the cutest, handsomest, pit bull I have ever seen. Nice gecko action too.
don't make me hit you with a rolled up newspaper.
Ruff life.......
when you go bamboo some more mr falang?
Googled "Wild in the Streets" and Easy Rider"......Boy was I wrong!
It was fun researching the facts though.
It also reinforces the old saying, "Anyone who remembers the sixties obviously wasn't there"
"The shape of things to come"
