Norman, Oklahoma With Spring's uncertain weather, we built several 'weather days' into the trip plan. These are days where we have options to travel or not depending on what is happening with the weather across the I40 states. We built one in fairly early in the trip because we didn't know whether New Mexico's mountains were going to provide us with a snow storm right at the beginning of the trip, delaying our start. Turns out, we didn't need that day - in fact, if you believe the New York Times, it might be the case that winter storms are done and Spring is already here, three weeks early. Howdy folks............I mean, good morning. I guess I've been in Oklahoma too long cause their lingo is wearing off on me ! We had another good nights sleep and this time there was actually no water involved so that was nice. We were up pretty early and excited to get started on our adventures for the day. I made us some mcmuffins for breakfast, paid a few bills online, checked emails and then off we went to check out the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. I know it doesn't sound very exciting but once we arrived and began the tour it was actually very interesting and lots of fun. Hello to all of you at home!!! I am really really sorry, that I didn't write for a long long time.....es tut mir echt leid, dass ich mich so lange nicht gemeldet habe, aber die letzte Zeit hier war einfach nur verrückt!! Ich habe viel zu wenig geschlafen, soviel erlebt, fast jeden Tag unter Woche den ganzen Tag auf der Uni und lernen und dann von Donnerstag bis Sonntag tausende von Aktivitäten!! Die Uni hier wird immer schwerer und vorallem das Recherchieren hier ist fast nicht mehr möglich...statt ruhiger wird es immer hektischer und viel mehr Events kommen noch auf mich zu!!! DIESES WEEKEND fahren wir nach DALLAS zum grössten, wichtigsten Spiel des JAHRES: OU v. TEXAS! Das findet 3 Stunden südlich von hier statt in der riesen, tollen, aufregenden Stadt DALLAS!!! Oh mein GOTT!!!!! Ich brauch endlich mal richtig Schlaf, die letzten drei Wochenenden konnte ich jeweils nur zwischen 3-6 Stunden schlafen, weil jedes Wochenende voll gepackt war mit Sachen und Meetings, Parties, Treffen, Poolpartys, Campuscorner, Clubs etc etc etc ;) Also natürlich ein MEGASPASS!!!!!! Aber ich würd sagen ich stell die Fotos rein und beschreibe jedes Foto einzeln, damit ich die ganze Story erzählen kann...jeweils pro Foto!!! Hallo an alle zu Hause!!!! Heute habe ich drei neue Sachen zu erzählen: Die WHITE PARTY vom Studentenclub PANAM, wo ich beigetreten bin, das TREFFEN am SEE mit CHRIS & CINDY und die HOUSEPARTY gestern Abend... @WHITE PARTY Seit 2 Tagen bin ich offiziell im CLUB von PANAM, das ist eine Studentenvereinigung von Südamerikanern, die jede Woche viele Veranstaltungen organisieren, wie zB: Paintball, Barbecue, freier Eintritt in Clubs, Salsa Dance etc etc. Und am Freitag Abend fand die erste Party statt im Club 101: es war wirklich total lustig...es gibt absolutes Rauchverbot, also haben meine Klamotten nach dem Weggehen nach garnichts (!) gerochen, es gab CORONA Bier ohne Ende (2 for 1) und alle waren weiss gekleidet...fast alle ;) @ THUNDERBIRD LAKE Die Geburtstagsparty von Chris, meinem HOSTDADDY war gestern (Samstag) Abend und zwar an einem ... read more
