This is our first entry. Even though we are not scheduled to leave for another week, we wanted to see if we could figure out how to use this travel blog.
Our original trip was to travel from North Carolina to Iowa, however Kerry got involved and now has us traveling 3,128.42 miles for a road trip that should actually only be 1,230.52 miles. What a trip he has planned for us! We are actually looking forward to all the fun and unusual sights he has mapped out for us.
We were hoping to be able to add the map for both routes, but we're unable to figure out how to upload a "mapquest" map. So you'll just have to believe us that Kerry's route has us zig-zagging our way from NC to IA.
We have assigned jobs to each of us, they are as follows:
Mark - Driver Extraordinaire
Rhonda - Navigator (good luck Mark)
April - Photographer
Danny - Technician

Sorry I was not UP this morning (late night).. well till Apes rang the door Bell! Anyway got ya covered.. Apes the cotton ball pissed on your dead tree! It's quite around here... Have a fun and safe trip... let us know how ya doing.... Oh, want pic's of the big Gam! Danny Keep them out of trouble! Do we need to do anything with the cat? besides the normal boarding her in my house... Adios and Happy Trails! PS I thought you were going to take some of our FREAK nuclear iradiated tomato's? There everywhere.... :-)
Apes says "at least the tree is being watered, so long as the cotton ball is hydrated." The cat should be fine, there is plenty of food and water in the garage.
