Packing

Hey ya'll!

This is the start of my trip, with all the packing.

I am nearly done packing all my stuff. I'm trying not to bring too many bags or too much stuff. I have a feeling I will be bringing some stuff home with me and I'll have to be trecking it all across Europe when the program ends.

Right now I have a normal suitcase, mini-case, backpack, and laptop bag.

My flight leaves Asheville at 4:55pm and then go to Charlotte and then I'll be landing in Frankfurt at 1:30pm and finally into Belrin at 2:35pm.

My hostel right now is Meininger hostel and hotel at Meininger Str. 10, Charlottenberg, Berlin, Germany. It seems pretty nice. It's not too far from FU and had good ratings/price. I'll be in a mix-dorm of 4 other people with a shared bathroom.

I'll be trying to get there by U-bahn or S-bahn, Germany's metro system. I hope it won't be too hard to figure out with getting a ticket and everything. I won't try the taxi unless I am too over my head. Taxis are expensive and according to an internet source, it would be almost 25 euros to get where I need to go! That is more than my two days in the hostel!

I have some people I am going to meet over in Berlin. I'll be meeting up with Sal, I am sure, and Andrea's friend Lisa who is going to the same school that I am. I hope to meet lots of new and interesting people during my time in Berlin, people from my program, Berlin, Germany, and else where in Europe.

This will be a new and exciting time for me. Wish me luck ya'll!
