FeelNYc with the Summer Streets Festival !

The 5^th edition of the Summer Streets Festival in New Yorkis this coming August 2012 on the 4th, the 11th, and the 18th from 7 PM till 1AM. More than 7 big and famous streets in New York will be open to the public where games, races, and biking will be on offer. You will also be able to enjoy running from the very famous Brooklyn Bridge to Central Park, biking along Park Avenue and receiving a free Helmet once you get to 51st Street. Even if you’re not a big fan of races, enjoying this spectacular festival is enough! And all for free!

Summer Streets is actually a part of a project from the New York City Department of Transportation, in collaboration with several other agencies, including the City Hall. Not to mention that the Teams’ sponsors and other local partners offer their help in order to make the Summer Street a one of a kind event for all of you!In addition to that, new in this year is Weekend Walks. The idea is to temporarily change some streets into pedestrian ones so that New Yorkers can see their neighborhood in a different and unique way, and meet new people.
