The Wait is finally over I'm here!!!!

Hello everyone so this is my first entry as yesterday i got here at 10pm American time and by the time i'd sorted out my stuff, had a shower and chatted to everyone it was 12 so technically 5am so i was pretty tired lol!

Right first i need to tell you about my journey, i got to the airport yesterday at 10.30am like three hours before my flight so had to wait around for ages get me i didn't go over my packing limit which was 23kg i was actually only 19kg on my big case very proud lol! So i am about to board the plane and realise that my letter from the school which goes with my visa is in my checked baggage doh more about that later! I get on the plane and there is this freaky old guy sitting at the end of my aisle thank goodness i didn't have to sit next to him OCD freakout would have occured!! He had this huge bogey hanging out of his nose and throughout the whole flight had this freaky snotty nose wheeze thing going on lol aww i feel bad as he was old but he was quite scary at the same time at one point he dribbled too so gross! I watched two films in the end but the first one had japanese subtitles something was wrong with my system so they had to reset it, the journey wasn't too bad in the end food was pretty yummy for plane food the flight took about 6hours 40 mins but we were sat on the runway for like 40 minutes before we left it was not fun i was getting very impatient!

When i got to the US arrivals i told them about my form being in my bag so they kept my passport and i went to get my luggage which took like half hour to get it must have been one of the first ones on the plane at heathrow and one of the last off at JFK, but after all that they let me in lol they must be mad!!
My friend Dayelle and her dad were there to pick me up and we had about a 2and a half hour drive back through a storm lots of rain and lightening and we stopped off to a place called popeyes which serves chicken and biscuits! biscuits i hear you say they aren't like our kind of biscuits they are like scones in a way but a bit spongier weird stuff lol!

Today i got up at 9am American time had breakfast then chilled until we went to tour Dayelle's brother and sister's school, it was a classic american school i loved it i took photos and will try to upload them tonight, they have the big lockers and i just managed to squeeze into Chrissy's i didn't go totally in in case i couldn't get back out that would have been really embarrassing! i went into their gym which is apparantly small it was massive and has the electronic score board and the bleachers at the side for basket ball games!
After the tour me and matt Dayelle's brother matt walked to the chocolate mousse the cafe where i had a job but dumb visa's made impossible for me to work there and got a chocolate marshmallow frappe and crumb cake sooooo good! then we walked down to the river and were jumping around on the stepping stones and found a dead fish ewww it was gross!
Dayelle is at work today so the rest of the day i'm just gonna walk around the town of Barryville you gotta love the place its so american and in the middle of nowhere! Oh yeah i forgot to say that Kathy owns the chocolate mousse cafe where i was gonna work and i went to say hi she said that she's gonna get me some work babysitting as she's gutted i can't work at the cafe so i think i'm babysitting her kids tomorrow and she wants me to throw a slumber party for her kids and her friends kids in her hotel next to the cafe i stupidly agreed what have i let myself in for lol! so yay least i can get a bit of money whilst i am here! ok so this is like a book in itself this entry so i best head off and tour the town!
