Greetings from Bath, NY!
Well, here we are in the lower part of New York just over the border from Pennsylvania. And here we are back seeing snow on the ground! Not much yet, but we anticipate more before long--maybe tonight!
We stopped in Mechanicsville, PA so my masters could have lunch with a friend of Sharon's, Dorothy Gish and her friend. They ate at Hoss's Steak & Sea (as for me, I had my bowls of usual stuff in the car)! For those of you old enough to remember Hoss, he was one of the sons on Ponderosa! Hoss Cartwright! His proper name on the show was Eric, even though he was called Hoss most often!! Hmmmmm.....we will leave that one there!
It rained this monring for an hour or so while we were on the road - this is the first time we've had any bad weather while driving on this whole trip! And encountering snow today was the first day we have since we left Wisconsin back on January 14th or so. We have been blessed with great weather!
We have stopped at a Days Inn in Bath, with an indoor heated pool. They are forecasting snow here
tomorrow, so we just may have to stay over a day and endure the pool and just have to take more time to relax!! <smile> The folks had supper at a Mexican restaurant called Sonora's here in the motel on the first floor. They say the food was great and cool Mexican music was playing in the background! But again, I have my two small bowls with food and water in the room.
So that's it for today - talk to you tomorrow!
Best wishes to you all and woof, woof to those who speak my language.
Benji
