1st stop NYC

Arrived in NY. Spent first two hours lost in Harlem. It was chucking it down, it was dark and there were no taxis. Eventually rocked up at Jazz on the Park hostel and we haven't stayed in a youth hostel since.

Fun stuff:
Greenwich Village, Chinatown, Little Italy
Hanging out with Gurj, her housemate and his crazy dog 'Monkey' in the East Village.
Meeting up with little brother who looked like a downtown city slicker
Dunkin' Donuts for breakfast, lunch and dinner
Seeing Elijah Wood in the Rockerfeller Centre
Not getting ID'ed once

Pap stuff:
Human hair in Jo's BBQ ribs
Staten Island - just don't bother
Yanks whooping throughout any movie in the cinema

Jo has learnt the rules of American Football and I am doing an average of 120 sit-ups a day in a bid to be the next Daniel Craig.
