Leaving NYC today. Stayed at my brother's place on the upper East side. Monday night we went out and had some german food and beer w/ John (whose last day at work is this Friday) and my brother. Yesterday Sherry and I ate at Red Bamboo, one of her favorite veggie restaurants. I had the soy chops and they were pretty darn good, like schnitzel. We then took a walk down through Soho and across the Brooklyn Bridge to Brooklyn Heights. Celebrity sightings yesterday: * The guy that plays the lead in 'Blind Justice', sorry no picture. Eating at Red Bamboo. [View Full Entry]

Hi Folks, Today's pace didn't let up much but at least we got to really sleep for the first time since Sunday night. It really lat now so I'll put off posting more pics until tomorrow but a brief recap of the day goes like this. Rise and shine to go over to Murray and Lore's for a fabulous breakfast of bagels, lox, sable, and fresh fruit. They were headed back to Pennsylvania so we wanted to see them before they left. Then Judy drove us to Queens where we visited the cemetery. I forgot all my info on where people [View Full Entry]

I went all 'Great Romanticism Poet Movement of the 19-20th Century' with the title, though not meaning to. Basically, it means that I'm starting to tire of this little island. Not in the bad way, and when I say tire I don't exactly mean that I'm beginning to wish I wasn't here, but in fact it means my body is beginning to see the effects that the 24 hour lifestyle (And I'm talking the real 24 hours, not the Tesco is open 24 hours kind of lifestyle) is having on me. Being placed in front of mega enormous advertising signs and [View Full Entry]

Ok, so seeing as yet again this computer has decided to destroy a WHOLE piece of what I've written I am going to have to speed through this blog. I HATE THESE COMPUTERS! I'm just going to BRIEFLY describe what I did so when I get home I can explain everything, but mymemory isnt very good so I have to write it down or I'll forget. Sorry about this, but after tomorrow at least I'll only be one day behind again. I am so close to destroyng these things at the moment, and the 'i' key isnt working great. ARGH! On [View Full Entry]

The absence of my blog yesterday was due to one single main event that may not have even registered in your head. I'm not calling my readers idiots though, I'm merely explaining that the event is not important outside of America. If you look at the date, you'll understand. Independence Day! A public holiday splattered with festivities and parades and fireworks, a truly momentous day in the American calendar. So, now you know why I haven't added anything, would you like to see what I did both today and the day before? Sure you would. After my internet café trip yesterday, [View Full Entry]

So I'm actually back to where I started now, and all has not changed apart from the weather, which has obviously learned its lesson and toned itself down a bit for its British visitors :p Me and Rogelio (There's a Welsh 'ch' sound where the g is, and so it makes me feel better!) we didn't get to see a lot of Boston after my update yesterday. And a quick side note, there won't be a lot of text to this for the simple reason that I have half an hour, I'm in the easyinternet cafe again! Last night was weird. [View Full Entry]

NEW YORK CITY Ahhh, the Big Apple! What’s not to love?? The purpose…Food & Theater. Pretty simple really. Felicia, Lindsay and I caught the redeye out of Long Beach and we were off. The Waldorf Astoria was not so thrilled as we arrived before 6:00 a.m. and was even less than willing to actually check us into our room. Instead we wandered around town. Sadly, we decided NOT to go see Tom Cruise tape the Today Show because we figured it would be mayhem. Boy were we right! I think it would have been worth it though if I ‘d known [View Full Entry]
