Mop up the tears. Put down the gallon of ice cream. Stop the prozac.
I'm Back! I have finally returned to fill the empty feeling that all of my loyal followers have suffered through for the last 2 years. You will all be excited to know that more Paul Nevin blogs are headed your direction.
I’m headed out on another adventure and this time I’m dragging my girlfriend Courtney with me. I’m uprooting her from her comfortable life and throwing her into the mix of chaos that I consider fun travel. We are planning to spend 6 months volunteering with the construction of a hospital in rural Ethiopia (and also to avoid needing one before it’s built). We are then hoping to spend an additional 6 months in SE Asia and India travelling around and doing whatever we please. That’s right, a year’s worth of blog updates!
My life for the last 2 years has consisted of more Sprout trips, a trip to England, two horrible jobs at health clubs, living in New York City, and regaining my beloved ‘muffin top’ before I lose it to famine in Ethiopia. I would write about it all, but its too
much work so I will just include some pictures and if you really want details… well you should have cared enough to follow what I was doing before waiting for me to blog about it 2 years later.
There is no real guarantee of how often I will have internet access to update my blog, but since I know many of you will be frothing at the mouth waiting for them, I promise to assert at least a little effort.
I upgraded my camera… but that might not translate to better pictures so don’t get your hopes up about that either. I still like emails while on the road so keep those coming… or rather start sending them.
I still don’t plan to blog about my feelings and I hate emoticons so don’t read my blogs if you are interested in what’s on my ipod or who I think should win American Idol. I will also continue to write in my personalized sarcastic style so if you don't like it, get over it.
I do enjoy getting comments… especially from people like Rocky Coggins from my
Beautiful beaches to beautiful cities update. (Yeah, and just for the record, your name
is Rocky Coggins… you lose.)
For those of you who have been following along, we were supposed to leave June 1st, but decided to push things back a week due to some trip logistics that weren’t exactly falling into place. June 8th is the new ETD.
So yeah, enjoy the picture montage and subscribe so you get a nifty little email every time I blog to remind you we haven’t passed away yet!
Courtney and I love you!
My Birthday Cake!Courtney made me a beautiful Muppets cake and then a mouse in her apartment ate it... I wasn't happy.

It's about time you returned to your faithful fans, Paul. Eric Harshfield is writing a blog about his adventures in South Africa as well. I'll send you his blog address. Good luck with your adventures. If we can help you out with names in Delhi let us know.
