Snapshots of Life on a Walk Around Central Park

After long working sessions up in Pallisades, it came to 1pm Sunday and I wanted to get outside and get some exercise. My plan - drive downtown and walk around Central Park. By 2pm I was over the George Washington bridge and in the city, pulling into a parking spot on W74th street. I headed north up Columbus way and then roughly around the park - sometimes heading into the parrk, mostly walking around the outside and often one block away.
This gave me a chance to feel the changing neighborhoods, from the shops and noise of the Upeer West Side, a little into Harlem by the Projects north of the park, and down the Upeer East Side - back into the money.
It was a perfect day for it - sometimes cloudy, sometimes sunny, but Spring is in the city - blossoms, flowers emerging as well as the 'newborn' green of new leaves in the elms.
