Debbie at the baseball
Debbie bought the Yankees t-shirt and changed into it for the game even though she was going for the Oakland A's
We had a thunderstorm last night but this morning was crisp blue sky so we walked along Central Park West to Columbus Circle and caught the D line subway north to Yankee Stadium at 161
st the Bronx. We watched the New York Yankees play the Oakland Athletics in baseball and the A’s won 5-4 to Debbie’s delight. She had a wonderful day as our seats were close in between 3
rdbase and home plate and we saw many of her favourite players and even the son of her friend came out as the closer to pitch for the A’s.
After the game, we caught the subway south to Times Square and had dinner at the Olive Garden and walked around Times Square, then up to the Rockefeller Centre and then back to our hotel.

New York New York!
What a wonderful time you are having. I'm really enjoying your blogs. Loved the Vermeers at The Frick and the lights of Rockefeller and Times Square. The helicopter trip at The Grand Canyon was a bit special too! Keep up the good work.
