The apartment we have for the month we are staying in NYC is just the ant's pants and we love it. And it's only six blocks from where Kerrii, Seb and the grandkids live so it's very convenient. We booked the apartment through airbnb so anyone coming to NYC would be able to book it if it was available; we can recommend it.
Today was the kid's ballet classes so we went to see what talents they had in that direction. They attended the East Academy of Ballet which has been running since 1979; maybe in the future we'll have an Australian Ballet member in the family!
After lunching with the kids Kev & I headed off to see The Frick Collection housed on 70th and 5th. Internationally recognised as a premier museum and research centre The Frick Collectiom is known for it's Old Masters, European sculpture and decorative arts. Assembled by the Pittsburgh industrialist Henry Clay Frick (1849 - 1919) the collection is housed in the former family home, one of New York's few remaining Gilded Age mansions. With artworks including Bellini, Rembrandt, Vermeer, Gainsborough, Goya and Whistler it is somewhere not to miss if you are visiting
NYC.
On the walk back to our apartment we called into the Trinity Pub which is next door to our place; just another day in the Big Apple!
